Shaffites

Shaffites used to be a term for a member of Cult of Shaf, who were devoted to fighting the occupation of the Yenarian. However, when the The Shadvruk was founded the 1st Shadvruk Dhar Lidruk also created the Shaffites. The Shaffites were to take the zeal of the origanal cult and channel that spirit into take whatever actions necessary to remove the Yenarian presence. Over the following days the Shaffites fought a guerrilla war against the Yenarian population and their sympathizes. Often times they would embark on a reign of terror, assassinating and terrorizing anyone they deemed impure of faith and supportive of the Yenarians. Their actions and tales of their deeds quickly spread far and wide and not many Yenarian would rest easy in their beds or as they walked down the street.

Composition

Manpower

Each team of Shaffites was designed to be self sufficient and self contained. Each team consisted of 3-10 core members who would train together for several days on the dark side of Shadcress. They then would make their way into one of the larger cities and attempt to gain information about the city and potential Yenarian weaknesses or supporters. Then they would take action against them, through assassination or sabotage.

Equipment

The cell would use any means at their disposal. When they were embedded in a location the leader of the cell would be well funded to purchase any thing they might need. Often times their assassinations would involve using poisons. It is even rumored that they have committed mass poisoning to eliminate a influential Yenarian.

Structure

Each group is headed by a one leader and each member reports to the leader. When embedded in a city, each member might recruit other discontent civilians into a sub cell. However, each sub cell would remain disconnected from the other sub cells, that way if one cell was captured the whole group embedded in the city would not be compromised. Shaffites were even prepared to drink thier own poison if captured to avoid compromising the other members of their group.
