The Wall of the Dead

The people have turned away from the gods, may their names be forever confined to this wall.
- Inscription above the names of the wall of the dead
As you walk down the Winding Road and come to the first plaza at the base of the Serpents Back you would notice the a ruined pale granite wall standing in the center of the plaza. If you were to approach the wall you would notice that the wall was about 80 ft long and 20 ft tall at its peak. In the center is the door frame that would fit a 15 foot tall set of double door. Attached the wall is a small brass place that says:
Only from building from our ancestors traditions can we sit atop the clouds.

On closer examination of the wall you would find that wall is covered with the names of people. If you were familiar with naming scheme of Old Yeni, you would notice that the right side of the door is engraved hundreds of female names all clearly legible but weathered. On the left hand side of the door in what appears to be a smaller and less uniform font, almost as if the caver took less time engraving these names, a list of male names almost twice as long as the list on the other side of the door.

Purpose

This wall was the wall to ancient temple of justice that the Old Yenarians used to administer their justice. Every person they condemned to die appears to have their name etched on the wall.
