Water World
Tidal Lock. Side near Sun boiling, the other side is frozen. It is like the Sun as it it is a part of an elemental plane residing in this realm, yet this is the water plane.
Near the "center" are "portals" where the Elemental Plane of Water connects and so it adds more water. As the water "boils" near the Sun it creates all kinds of storms on that side, and the boiling (and gravity) is so strong it pulls a lot of the water into "space" this water freezes and so as the planet moves it is constantly leaving water in its wake that instantly freezes… the planet also hits old frozen water from a year ago causing an area of constant meteor showers and bombardments.
Geography
the planet is all water, with ice on the side opposite of the Sun, but boiling storms on the side near the sun.
Ecosystem
As this planet is a part of the Elemental Plane of Water as well as the Material Plane the lifeforms that tend to exist here are Elementals and other water creatures from the Elemental Plane of Water.
