Decompose

Causes a creature's corpse to rapidly degrade.

Decompose is a rare spell known to some druids to foster the rebirth of plants and to initiate the start of fungus growth. It has been said that plants for tea grown on the grounds which has been prepared with this spell can be some of the best grown.

Effect

The caster touches the corpse of a creature and causes significant decomposition and growth of fungus, moss, and perhaps a flower or two within a minute. Notably, it does not hinder resurrection, nor does it interfere with Speak with Dead. It also works on recently severed parts of living bodies. On a larger corpse (of an ettin) it caused vines to sprout and wrap around the body.

Source

Naturally a Druidic cantrip that a druid can learn, not replacing their ability to cast other cantrips.

Discovery

There are some gardening books hiding this spell in Druidic to help others gain its ability.
