Frostmonth

The first month of the year. It is was known as Krístoptyulí in the old tongue, and is often referred to as Frostyulí by many. It is associated with the element of Water and starts with the rise of the Teardrop constellation.

It is a time for people to give thanks for the new year and to make resolutions for the future. 1/10: Founder's Day, a local holiday in Al'Quar (Occurring on 10 Taraq, this celebrated the birthday of the first Grand Caliph.) 1/13: Worshipers of Garl Glittergold celebrate the Communion of Laughter with various activities. 1/13: Worshipers of Tyr perform the ritual of the Maiming at which a giant gauntleted hand appears above the congregation and then disappears in an Illusion of flaming blood. 1/15: Worshipers of Waukeen observe Cold Counting Comfort, a High Festival in honor of the accounting that occupies many businesses during inclement weather. 1/22: Worshipers of Tyr perform the ritual of the Blinding at which an Illusion of a giant pair of eyes appears above the congregation and then sheds flaming tears until they drain away to nothing.
