Mindflayer Colony under Outding Refuge
Very little is known about this abandoned colony at this time. In 2020, The Mighty Menagerie did go below the Outding Refuge Temple Ruins and after exploring a good portion of The Underdark they found it. Exploring just a few rooms they felt it was abandoned and not much of a threat so they returned home to Outding Refuge.
According to Jacoby Drexelhand in some of his journals -- these colony's were abandoned even before Gruzzussk D'Achtend found them. Gruzzussk D'Achtend discovered much in these empty halls which helped him create the crystal to attempt in controlling the dragon, Canthenth.
Jacoby Drexelhand also came here around time after his first defeat at the hands of The Mighty Menagerie to attempt a devious plot in allowing a longdead Illithid larva to manifest itself in him, with a ritual hoping to grant him some of the powers of the mindflayers along with some powers of the undead and a long lifeline.
