Upper Plane
he upper planes (sometimes Upper Planes) was a collective term used in the Great Wheel cosmology model to represent the Outer planes of Good alignment, located across the top of the Great Wheel. These were Arcadia, Mount Celestia, Bytopia, Elysium, the Beastlands, Arborea, and Ysgard.
“ Now, don't ye be thinking that 'cause these are 'the good planes' that they're all boring, soft, and fluffy. [...] Hang about for a while, then come back and tell me a tale or two. ” — Ciermides, retired planewalker The Great Wheel of the Outer Planes
The World Tree cosmology model rearranged, renamed, and reorganized the upper planes into the Celestial planes but some people still used the older term to describe the good-aligned planes.
