Bird Brain

The Brain Aerial Support Drone or B-ASD, or more colloquially known as the Bird Brain, is a mass produced Automatons unit in service of The Brain Technocracy. Their primary directive is to support ground units by swarming above enemy ranks and laying down light fire in the aim of routing them out of any entrenched cover. Deployed in swarms, they were relatively fragile to even the weakest firepower, but their numbers and swift movements made them more than a nuisance to whomever they were sicced on.

Complexity

This bot makes use of extremely primitive AI that has no capacity for higher thinking. All intelligence systems are directed towards air maneuverability and aiming. Their swarm tactics must always be directed by an Elite bot otherwise they will do nothing but fly in circles. Besides this, they are equipped with powerful air jets  in their main body chassis, and two flexible mesh wings that help them steer their flight paths. Housed in their head is a low yield energy blaster that can be fired in very quick succession as well as basic model ocular receptors.
