Brain Assassin

The Brain-Bot Assassin Unit or BB-AU or Brain Assassin is a mass produced Automaton in the service of The Brain Technocracy. Their primary directive is in service of infiltration and assassination of key targets or personnel using their camouflage and signal scrambling to avoid detection, and their bladed appendages to deliver swift, decisive killing blows, before the target can even know they're coming.

Utility

Brain Assassin are deployed in the middle stages of an engagement, if progress on capturing and holding an area cannot be made or maintained. Before then, they are usually kept deactivated. When the time is decided to make use of them by a Elite bot, they are given their targets, usually an enemy general or commander, but also sometimes others such as corporate heads or politicians especially in the aims of demoralizing the opposition. They are then unleashed on their targets and most often under the cover of night wherein they will attempt to discern a suitable hiding spot that is close to a location their target will be. 
Totally motionless to conserve power and making full use of their hiding systems, they will spring forth in a flurry of bladed arms whenever the target triggers their trap. As with most Brain Bot, their integrity comes last when it came to their priorities, so hunting and killing the target becomes their only goal, either they are destroyed or they finish off their target.
During The Brain Army Attack  As the battle raged on, Elites began to deploy Brain Assassin in packs of 3-4 as extra "insurance" to make sure their targets are eliminated as The Constitutional Monarchy of X-Planet had begun to adapt to their strategies, and keep their important personnel guarded or accompanied by others.
In the off chance a BB-AU is captured by the enemy, a distress beacon can be sent to an Elite bot whereupon they can issue a self-termination command, unraveling their flexible meshes and detonating their heads.

Complexity

BB-AU are one of the more intelligent Automaton units of The Brain Technocracy, gifted with a complex AI system able to act and plan largely independent of higher ranking bots. They can coordinate with one another and change tactics on the fly if need be, however they often rely on commanders to do this. Their frames are made of a complex liquid-like mesh that automatically shifts its colors to mimic their surroundings. Its is also very malleable and flexible gifting the bot the ability to bend and contort in many different ways to be agile in battle or squeeze into small hiding spots. Their head's however are much less malleable than their body and are equipped with a very advanced sensor array on the front that can detect things in low light or UV vision, it also houses their signal scrambler.
