Canis Region

The Canis Region is a province in the Northern Continent lying to the northeast of X-Valley. It is characterized by its densely wooded forest from which derives the regions main export of lumber and wood. Small towns make up most settlements with 2 major cities otherwise. Ruins of the olden Canis Domain can be seen throughout the various forests.

Structure

As with all Provinces within The Kingdom, the region is governed by primarily by a regional representative who in turn governs mayors and various bureau delegates throughout.

History

The Canis Region is the ancestral home of most Mammalian Canid Monimal back when it was known as The Canis Domain. Back then the region was still known for its dense forests and tall trees, from which made good natural barriers to the other Olden Realms and the denizens are described in historical texts as being fiercely meritocratic and territorial. As such, the Domain was one of the latter additions to the accords with the other Olden Realms due to their isolationist nature.
