Great Scar

The Great Scar is a large geographical formation on the Scar Hemisphere for which it provides the namesake.
It is a large deep chasm  that cuts deep into the mantle of Glober Planet and plays host to multiple different cities and settlements across the walls of the scar, notably Orange Glober and Red Glober and to a lesser extent Cyan Glober 
The Scar holds a bountiful harvest of ores and minerals that the Orange Glober can easily mine. The lower parts of the chasm are prone to frequent eruptions or flooding by the shifting and stirring lava of the core of the planet. However, this is also virtually the only location where the most valuable ores such as Osmonite can be found, and thus, the mining guilds fight fiercely to have their stake near the deep scar mining there, despite the precarious conditions that can wipe out a mining colony suddenly and without warning as eruptions occur. Some Orange Glober even use their abilities in an attempt to trigger this event and sabotage their competition.
The exact event that created the scar is unknown although most scholars agree it was either likely caused by a cataclysmic impact with a very large object or some form of extreme energy burst or explosion.
