Wizards and oracles who have mettled with time and chronomancy have sometimes made contact with an unknown being known as Automata, a mass of metal, whirring gears, and moving parts. It presents itself to those who see far into the future. A god who has yet to exist, but influences the waking world as it stands. Tales and stories of this future god have spun a massive cult of those who glorify technology and those who seek to use the knowledge of the future for their own benefit. Automata's goals are unknown and alien to those who have been visited by the god itself.
