Camua, Lady of Nightmares (kuh-moo-ah)
"Strip the flesh and lay the soul bare, you have only begun to suffer."
Camua (a.k.a. Bride of Death)
The Bride of Death itself, Camua found herself a place as a tormentor and punisher amongst the deities. Laying claim to the weak willed and the suffering, Camua feeds off the negative energy and revels in the pain she inflicts.
In her younger days, Camua grew fascinated with death and its machinations. She became a brilliant necromancer who pioneered the school of magic. Her studies took her close to the brink and near the border of death and life, where what she witnessed changed her forever. Camua became obsessed and imbued her mortal form with necrotic and foul energies which transformed her soul.
In the end, her experiments led her into the welcoming arms of Death who took her as its bride and blessed her with Divinity. Now Camua gladly serves death as its bride, and revels in punishing the wicked at their final end.
