Destrus, Master of Death (des-trus)

Once a powerful warrior and sorcerer who combatted the First Rise, he was betrayed by those close to him and found himself imprisoned in a realm of death.
Destrus had once been allies with Sogarr, Weiss, and Corsus, and together they had fought side by side against the Rise. Once the conflict had finished, only Weiss and Sogarr returned.
After a time, Destrus returned as if out of thin air and settled into the kingdom of Ormos where he gathered followers and advisors of magic. In his study, Destrus grew powerful and obsessed, and was eventually betrayed by his closest advisor, Morgan Leblanc, and was sealed inside the realm of death.
Legend has it that Destrus found himself unimpressed with what he saw, that he commanded his own magic and turned the realm into his own. As his powers grew, Destrus ascended into divinity despite his own trappings inside the realm of death.
