A guardian of light and metal, The Protectorate alongside The Harbinger  have presided over Discordia for time immemorial. Tales have always spoken of a being of pure light at war with a being of pure shadow. The ebb and flow of Discordia and the eternal struggle it suffers can be eluded to link back to these two. Protectorate wishes for the world to be a bastion of light and for it to be protected.
