Personal history
Born albino in a village where the color of scales has great meaning, Helasar was always shunned by his peers. Though he was not specifically exiled, his treatment led to him leaving his home village of Udogar when he was 10. Travelling to Madbrooke, and eventually to the City of Fade, he found that his people had not ventured out into the rest of the world, and felt that without allies the village would eventually fall. While on the streets of Fade he was offered charity in the church Dawn's Awakening, and eventually joined the church to train to become a cleric. After earning his robes he travelled all over Fade to see what he could see. Finding few dragonborn, and fewer people that knew of his village at all, he returned to his village, to tell them what he had found. When he arrived in Udogar he noticed that though they did not train with magic in the village, many of his tribesman had an aptitude for the rare skill. Utilizing his villages belief in Bahamut, he convinced several of his people to travel with him to the City of Fade and train in Dawn's Awakening as clerics. Seeing the incredible potential of such a large concentration of magical talent Dawn's Awakening accepted Udogar into the circle of Bahamut and began recruiting heavily from the youth. Helasar's work alone has increased the magical capabilities of the church to its highest numbers in history, bringing untold numbers to the church for healing and help against the undead. He was appointed Light Bearer of Bahamut before he was 25 and has been leading his people in the ways of the church for over 20 years.
