Career
Qualifications
- Soldiers must be on Active duty or in the Reserve / National Guard Components.
- Must possess MOS 11B, 19D or 18 series in the rank of E3 through E6.
- ASI B4 will only be awarded to Soldiers possessing MOS 11B
- Must have a good performance record with no history of alcohol or drug abuse.
- Must be a volunteer
- Must at a minimum possess a physical profile of 111221.
- 20/20 correctable vision
- Color discrimination of red/green annotated on physical exam.
- meet height and weight standards of AR 600-9 "The Army Weight Control Program" at the time of in-processing.
- have a GT score of 100 or higher.
- qualify expert with the M4 Rifle within six (6) months of course attendance

they are the best shooter and hit a target from miles away making them very feared and lethal.
exactly the combination you want when in war.

the sniper in normal life is a little feared as well as admired.
however now one really knows what the job entails so it's the mystery that draws people in, searching for answers.

the tools a sniper uses depend on the mission and the distance he's required to shoot.
if he/she needs to be very mobile, you can imagine he's not going to carry a massive sniper rifle.
keep in mind that the ammo and rifle are added to the normal packing a soldier is already carrying with him/her.
