With the help of Nick Diorides, he finds c.i.a agent Jamie Ketelsen wounded in the hospital with his younger brother Brayden. The two of them appear to be a couple. Examining Jamie himself and coming across major brain damage he arranges for them to be transported to Division P's headquarters, which is closer than his own department on the west coast. When returning days later with his brother to smooth over some legal issues with the local police a bomb goes off, causing damage to his spine. Confined to the med bay of Peter Vithoulkas.
