Frederica "Fritzy" Gembatón is an engineer and ride operator for Marvella's Menagerie of Might and Magic.

Fritzy is a short, stocky gnomish woman with a ruddy complexion thanks to spending plenty of time in the sun. She keeps her long, curly brown hair tied into messy buns, to keep it out of the way when she's working on her machines.

Fritzy dresses in tight-fitting slacks and smocks with a tool belt around her waist and leather gloves on her hands.

Fritzy is an accomplished engineer, specializing in the relatively new field of steam-powered technology. She is responsible for designing and building several things used around the carnival, though her pride and joy is the carousel that sits at the center of the carnival grounds. She designed the machinery that makes the carousel work, while the many animal statues in the ride were carved from various materials by Idris Feldspar.
Some of her other inventions include:
- Kaleidoscoping cylinders the carnival uses to quickly build up and tear down tents.
- Collapsible aqueducts that can be connected to a portable water tank for portable showers.
- The steam-powered percussion drill for quickly digging holes, which can be retrofitted to help hammer down spikes for setting up tents.
