Ningish'zidal
Ningish'zidal was a green greatwyrm, leader of the Emerald Flight during the Dracomachy, and the progenitor of the Aryt Draken. Ningish'zidal was chosen by Tiamat to lead the green dragons as her champion in their conquest of Divostra. After the imprisonment of the Dragon Queen, Ningish'zidal went into hiding the Zandrazil Jungle, where he was hunted by his former lover, the bronze dragon Shâd'havâr, who trapped the greatwyrm in the form of a crocodile. He was ultimately devoured by one of his own flight.
As the most cunning of the Dragon Queen's champions, Ningish'zidal was pivotal in distracting the metallic dragons of Urdravrak by instigating power struggles between their flights while the rest of Tiamat's forces conquered the plane. His subterfuge was uncovered by a contingent Mosi explorers, who informed the metallic dragons of the Emerald Champion's sabotage. In the confrontation with his metallic brethren, Ningish'zidal's Dragon Soul was shattered and the weakened greatwyrm fled with the remaining green dragons to their home in Zandrazil.
