Dunestriders (Grum'vola)

The Grum'vola first formed among the Darudé and Vaathi of the Balar isthmus who worshipped the earth titan Grumbar, protecting his temple of Grumbar'kath. They were forced to flee south during the Dracomachy when Bala'Ishkur and her blue dragonflight conquered the temple and used it as a staging ground for their war campaign to the east. The Grum'vola eventually settled in the cliffs of the Drak'teth Gorge, where they could hide from the dragons that ruled central Divostra. Feeling abandoned by their titan, they renounced their former name and took on the moniker of Dunestriders. Demographically, the clan is primarily composed of Darudé, Vaathi, and orcs. Dunestriders trade freely with neighboring communities in the Bala Desert, as their members are expert stonemasons, potters, and glassblowers thanks to their practice of earth magic.

Embercallers (Koss'vola)

The Embercallers formed among the dwarves of the Jungstol Taiga north of Muspelheim from worshippers of the fire titan Kossuth, tasked by the titan with guarding the entrance to Kossheim. They were integral to the defeat of Kossuth and his fire giants in the Titanomachy, using their primordial magic to destroy the entrance to Daril'kossuth and trapping the giants within their creator's subterranean lair. The druids renamed their circle the Embercallers and renounced any divine allegiance, coming to mistrust the gods that had turned on them. Their ranks are primarily comprised of kitsune, dwarves, and fire genasi. Embercaller society is made up of traditional hunter and gatherer roles. The druids practice fire magic as a way to burn away diseased or damaged sections of the Jungstol Taiga so new life can grow.

Windscorned (Aka'vola)

The Aka'vola first formed among the air genasi of the Wandering Isles, who worshipped the Primordial Titan Akadi and helped her build the temple of Tel'akadi after the War of Oblivion. When the Aka'vola refused the cloud giants' offer to join Akadi during the Titanomachy, the giants enslaved the druids and forced them to use their magic to turn Tel'akadi into a floating magical fortress. The druids were rescued by the bronze dragonflight and, together with their new allies, forced the cloud giants to flee the Wandering Isles. The druids renamed themselves Windscorned and began worshipping Bahamut, who had sent the bronze dragons to aid the druids. Their ranks are comprised primarily of air genasi, bronze dragonborn, and aarakocra. Windscorned consider the floating isle of Galvundi to be their headquarters, but smaller enclaves of Windscorned can be found throughout the Wandering Isles.

Former

Ish'vola

The Ish'vola were once worshippers of the water titan Istishia who settled on the continent of Sekajota around the temple of Istishia'jilad. Their entire clan was wiped out by devils from the Nine Hells who were searching for information on how to release Khaos.
