PERSONAL HISTORY

Badger was born in a small village on the outskirts of a dense forest. Her human father, a skilled hunter and trapper, taught her the ways of the wilderness, while her elven mother, a talented herbalist, passed on her knowledge of healing and the natural world. Despite her mixed heritage, Badger was accepted and respected within her village, thanks to her keen survival instincts and warm-hearted nature.
As she grew older, Badger's skills as a hunter and healer only became more refined. Eventually, she caught the attention of a group of bandits who sought to exploit her abilities for their own gain. When she refused to join them, they razed her village to the ground, leaving her with nothing but the clothes on her back and a burning desire for vengeance.
For years, Badger tracked the bandits through the wilderness, honing her skills and picking them off one by one. As her reputation grew, she became known as "Badger" for her relentless pursuit of her prey and her distinctive striped hairstyle. Eventually, she caught up with the bandit leader and exacted her revenge, leaving him to the mercy of the wild animals she knew so well.
With her mission complete, Badger wandered aimlessly for a time, unsure of what to do with her life. Fate intervened when she stumbled upon the Wormwood, a ship in need of an experienced hunter and healer. Seeing an opportunity for a fresh start, she joined the crew, quickly proving her worth and earning the respect of her shipmates.
Though Badger has seen more than her fair share of pain and suffering, she remains a compassionate soul, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Her experiences have given her a strong sense of loyalty to her crew and a fierce determination to protect them from the dangers of the high seas.

CURRENT ROLE

"Badger" Medlar now serves as the Wormwood's primary healer and hunter, providing for the crew's needs both on land and at sea. She is well-respected among her shipmates for her dedication to their well-being and her unwavering loyalty to the crew.

RELATIONSHIPS

Badger has formed close bonds with several members of the Wormwood's crew, including the Barnabus Harrigan  and Mr. Plugg. She is especially protective of the younger members of the crew, seeing in them a reflection of the life she once had and the family she lost.
