After the Truce of the Concordance, the state of Vras saw an opportunity to strike at Solas. Though many know that the Kelox Family had been advising the Vras Family to strike back at Solas for the displacement of the lands of Dochas.

The Cruel War was a bloody war as the state of Vras was relentless in striking at Solas.   Solas was weakened both from the War of the Wastes and the large disbandment of their navy. But Solas was a powerful Queendom and survived against the Forces of Vras for some time. That is until the Dynasty of Actu aligned with Vras.   During this time, the Council had made Airships of their own, and having sided with Solas in the past, they began aiding the forces of Soals with their Airships.   After a few hundred years into the war, the Dacoria Family started utilizing Dragon Riders as a way of putting an end to the Queendom of Solas.   However, once Dragons came into the Fray, the Tribes of Huzal, which had remained neutral in all wars, decided to join the War utilizing Both aiding Solas and Killing dragons.   In the final years of the War, after the Vras states took over numerous cities, It wasn't until Saint Susanna Dawnmoore brought down Kramtes Dacoria and his Blue Dragon that the war started to close.
