The Gods

In the beginning, the god Victus gave birth to themself, the god of birth and life, and opened their eyes to the nothingness that existed and not. With a push of their will, worlds erupted into being, stars shining in the sky. Everything existed, and would always exist, if Victus had not then gave birth to Letum, the god of death. She opened her eyes, and time began its march towards the inevitable end. The stars began to diminish. The planets shifted and crumbled, particle by particle, like nothing to the humans that would come to exist in the world, but visible to the eyes of these gods. Victus had more life to give, and so together they chose a planet that they deemed appropriate and began to work. Victus plucked a rock from the ground and placed it inside their body, then birthed Pessum, the god of the earth and dirt and stone. He breathed deep his first breath and laid atop his domain, and Victus took heart from this first reaction and breathed in their own breath. With a deep exhale, they birthed Aeris, the god of air and wind and the breath they took. He took to the skies with abandon, laughing and swooping and thanking Victus for his existence. He helped them travel faster across the land until they reached a large body of water, which Victus waded into and within that birthed Maris, the god of water and liquids and the rough waves at sea. She bubbled up from the depths, waves like fabric draping over her. The three siblings worked together for their youngest sister. Pessum brought forth wood from the trees, sheltering it with some stone while Aeris and Maris worked together to craft a violent storm. Crackling echoed across the sky, looming closer and closer until Pessum removed the stone and lightning shot down from the clouds in the sky to strike the wood and set it aflame. Victus wasted no time in inhaling the smoke and stepping into the flames and birthing Aduro, the god of fire and smoke and the heat of the universe. She danced in the fire and lightning, rain evaporating before it could touch her skin. The family of gods played and laughed and danced together, before all going their separate ways. The four youngest had plenty of do with themselves, the powers of the elements theirs to control and play with. Victus stood idly by and looked at Letum, who stood idly by herself, with nothing to do until the plants withered and the planets crumbled, and they both decided they weren't done. Victus traveled across the lands and oceans, ejaculating as they willed, and creatures sprang from the ground where their seed landed. Wolves, sharks, rabbits, sparrows, until finally they created humans and decided that they had done enough. The world was full, and with the people kneeling at their feet, they would always have something to do and watch until Letum's role brought it all to an end.

Summary

Victus, the god of life, gave birth to the world and all the other gods, one after another. Letum, god of death. Pessum, god of earth. Aeris, god of air. Maris, god of water. Aduro, god of fire. They then went on to create all living creatures on the planet, including humans.
