Archon
The title used to describe a member of a secret group of mythical beings that are rumored to secretly control the world. While no evidence has ever been provided to prove their existence, often cited as being too powerful and too intelligent to leave evidence, there are those who claim the Archons are in control of the entire world from the shadows and have been behind every major and minor event in the history of the Disc.
Most myths and stories surrounding the Archons have them involved in a secret order known as The Council of Seven.
