Half-Breeds

Those who have been born of mixed parentage have never found an easy time in the Lower Realms, especially the half-elves and half-orcs.   The Orc tribes are often viewed as a hostile force that has attacked repeatedly across the Lower Realms, hiding in nomadic camps across the Borderlands. Because of this, many half-orcs choose to remain with the Orc tribe rather than venturing out, preferring a trial of strength over the persecution often associated with being born from an Orc parent.   While the reaction may not be as actively hostile as with the Half-Orcs, a Half-Elf will find plenty of prejudice in the Lesser Realms. Many associate the elves and their actions with what caused the Gods to bring forth the Dragons as punishment and many half-elves bear the brunt of that association in the form of persecution and mistrust.   Interestingly, while Half-Elves have been found to adopt various heritage traits of their parent, Half-Orcs don't show the same level of diversity.  This could indicate that Elven biology is more dominant than human biology, or that Orcs and Humans are just more compatible on a fundamental level.
