God of Winter
Overview
One of the Six renegade gods that tries to rebuild the world in their image without any influence from the original Two. Brings cold and hardiness to the world. Cold is its physical element and the focal point for its powerAppearance
The God of Winter hovers as a limbless serpent with skin appearing as solid white ice, though is likely some unknown natural material. Three shades of white coat its body. Its body is long and of a uniform thickness except at its abdomen and end of its tail. Many dozens of long spikes held as an extreme angle jut out from the god's body, while the spikes on the abdomen take a different shape and direction. Stretched out, Winter's body is a few dozen feet long. Four silver lines run along the entire length of its body.In stone form, it is no larger than two fists together. Many small spikes run along a single axis of the stone, separate from the other surfaces. Silver lines run along the main surface of the stone. Like its body, Winter's stone form has three shades of white.
Plots, Pawns, and Goals
Created with more intelligence and a form closer to the Two than anything that had ever existed previously, the Six seek to break the normal cycle of creation and destruction so that they can live on, separate from what had existed before. Together they pooled their powers to crate the beginnings of what would become the world, for by creating something outside the scope of the Two, they and their creation would no longer be bound by the eternal cycle.Winter was the fifth to act, following most of the other Six gods by chilling the ends of the world and the edges of the air blanket created by Speed, further fueling change and creating temperature differences that would power the various forces of the world without active input from the gods. Only one other god would act after Winter. However, their efforts to remain totally separate from the Two were foiled when both Maker and Destroyer tainted the world with their elements, which removed full control of this new world from the Six.
Like most of the gods, Winter has sighted one human in modern times as a mortal link and influence. Maddened by loss and injustice and yearning for a chance to destroy a world that allows such actrocities, Winter subtly lured this person's forces to its shrine so that the god may find this human, and in turn rise from stone form and begin a new phase in the eternal war.
