Dragonborn
In a world where dragons can shapeshift into humanoid forms at will, it was perhaps inevitable that they would utilize this ability to engage with the other races, and also inevitable that these interactions would result in progeny. These offspring generally come out similar to their parent’s forms when they were conceived, but do retain some draconic traits. They may possess scales over portions of their body, vertically slitted dragon eyes, sets of small horns, and on rare occasions they even possess something similar to a dragon’s breath weapon. Vestigial wings and tails are also possible but extremely rare even within this sparse population. Their dragon heritage also ties them strongly to the magics of the world, making them powerful mages. The treatment of dragonborn children tends to depend on the conditions under which they were conceived. Good dragons, expectedly, tend to make much better parents than evil ones. This is another group that is so rare that they do not really have any distinct culture of their own.
