Magicborn

Really several different peoples with similar, but decidedly different origins, magicborn races are severe minority groups compared to most others. Once could conceivably view them more as offshoots or variants of the more common races, each with a specific, peculiar quirk. They can be born from any race, and so do not share a common language or culture. But because of their shared physiology and perception from those around them it is still probably most fair to group them together. While their parentage can be somewhat diverse, they seem to have life cycles most similar to regular humans, maturing in their late teens but living to be as old as a century or so. Which also brings up the fact that magicborn children can and most often are born from “normal” parents unless there is some sort of significant, intentional intervention. Similarly, magicborn parents will not necessarily have offspring like themselves, though the chances are much higher than if the child had regular parentage.
