Mountainborn

Also called half giants, grays skins, or just grays they are, as the name suggests, gray skinned descendants of humans and the last giants before they went extinct. Living on the slopes of the Morningold Mountains in small, tribal communities, they are one of the least common of all races. Mountainborn are recognizable for two things first and foremost: their striking gray skin and their immense size. Frequently standing upwards of seven feet tall, their large, powerful bodies are a sight to behold. Their reclusive nature means little is known of their culture beyond its emphasis on familial bonds and a strict code of honor. While categorized herein as humans, their language, Stonespeach, differs somewhat from the Miridian Common, steering much closer to the true, ancestral language of their giant forefathers.
