Humans
The most populous race, humans are perhaps best known for their adaptiveness and drive to control whatever and whoever surrounds them. Generally between five and a half and six and a half feet tall, humans come in a vast array of skin tones, eye colors, and hair colors. Humans speak variations of what is generally called “Common,” though it is really a distant descendant of the language of the giants. Other races often blame humans’ ravenous desire to consume and conquer on their comparatively short life spans. Though comparable with several other races, humans almost never living to be a century old makes them seem juvenile to people like dwarfs and mere flashes in the pan to the likes of elves and dragons. This lust for power and knowledge of their mortality can push humans to wild ends in hopes of prolonging their lives or making sure they are remembered after they are gone.
