Dragons have often been at the forefront of Dungeons and Dragons media. After all, they're in the name! But, while we often see them in our campaigns and one shots, they serve more as a background role than anything else. What do I mean? How often do you have a Dragon as a BBG or climactic boss fight before an endgame-level boss? Now, how often do you have a Dragon, or dragons, as deeply rooted NPC's that shape the world? It certainly is less than the former possibility.
Draconia serves to change that. In Draconia, the eternal conflict between the dragon deities Bahamut and Tiamat has been put to rest and Dragons and other dragon-like races live in peace with one another. The other races have become subservient races to the former mentioned ones and live side-by-side with the new alpha races. On one side of the world lies the continent of Chromaticos, the continent of chromatic dragons. Opposite of them lies the continent of Metallan, home of the metallic dragons.
While the dragons do not wage war with each other any longer, the two kinds still harbor their disdain for one another. Each continent has their own laws and regulations regarding their societies and cultures. Schisms often arise due to the differences in their traditions.
Take your first steps into Draconia and experience a world ruled by dragons!

Copper Power
8 Prompts
2 Wild Card Prompts
Theme Description
The first theme of prompts for SC23 is Power. What it means in your world, who has it, what type of power it is and how people wield it.
My Goal
I will be using these prompts to hopefully expand upon the different organizations and people within my world. There are a number of different groups or individuals that all have varying degrees of power in all aspects that can be written about.
Silver Frontier
8 Prompts
2 Wild Card Prompts
Theme Description
The second of Summer Camp 23's themes is Frontier. The exploration of undiscovered or uncharted lands and their subsequent effects. Alternatively, it could also mean the frontiers of concepts like medicine, technology or weaponry.
My Goal
After some note taking and planning, I have decided to use these prompts to fill out the Briggs Region of my world. Currently it is a little barren compared to Ruxan (so far the only region in my world I have filled out), and a number of the prompts can be weaved together if I write them properly.
Gold Relics
8 Prompts
2 Wild Card Prompts
Theme Description
The third theme of Summer Camp 2023 is Relics. Lost artifacts of importance, but also the idea that something old and influential like a city or extinct species can also be considered a relic.
My Goal
This wave stumped me more than I was prepared for. Unlike the Frontier prompts, I don't have a central theme that I can really connect everything back to. More like, many themes to connect a single article or two together.
Diamond Communication
8 Prompts
2 Wild Card Prompts
Theme Description
Theme four is all about communication. How people communicate via language, over long distances, silently, etc.
My Goal
This was actually a surprising wave full of things I can make fun if I put the effort into it. I'll be fleshing out certain aspects of the world but also having fun with this wave.
