The Marshland Mausoleum

The Marshland Mausoleum is a sacred burial ground deeply rooted in the spiritual traditions of the The rotten domain. Located on a small island amidst the tangled waterways of the The Mire of Desolation, this hallowed place serves as the final resting spot for the ancestors of the Rotten Domain, as well as some honored outsiders. Constructed from stones imbued with unique swamp herbs to resist the effects of moisture and decay, the Mausoleum is an architectural marvel in its own right. The structure captures an eerie sense of beauty, with moss-covered walls and stone pathways that wind through tombstones, memorial plaques, and statues of ancient warriors and shamans. A sense of quiet reverence hangs in the air, punctuated only by the croaks of distant frogs and the occasional bird call.
To reach the Mausoleum, one has to traverse a maze of narrow, wooden walkways that snake through the swamp. The locals believe that the difficulty of the journey serves to filter out those who aren't truly committed to paying their respects.
