The Army
The Army is above all others, other than the King himself. They have the power to clear out entire cities, whether through recruitment, force, or both. The army answers only to the King, but they do not need the King's permission to act. If the King gives an order to the army, they must follow it to the letter, but beyond that, they are free to reign as they see fit.
Structure
The King leads the Captains, the Captains lead the Lieutenants, the Lieutenants lead the Soldiers. Soldiers have say over the actions of the Citizens, when the Army demands it.
Culture
The useful are granted rank, the useless go to the front line. This is the motto of the army. The Soldiers are led by the promise of reward, and the fear of failure. This fear is then inflicted upon the citizens by the second motto of the army; "Do Not Resist!" Citizens know that at any moment they could be enlisted into the ranks of the army themselves and often pray that day never comes. Resistance means that you are useless, and the useless go to the front lines.
Public Agenda
The army is lead by fear. Fear of failure. Fear of their enemies. Fear of the front lines. This fear is placed upon the citizens as well. Fear of being enlisted. Fear of the enemies reaching their homes. Fear of the front lines.
Assets
The army is provided everything that they are needed, even if it has to be taken from the citizens.
History
The army came into existence after the kingdom needed to defend itself from the growing forces of the Orc Tribes to the north. People were forced into enlistment by the King and it was only be sheer force of numbers that the Orc Tribes were crushed. The King, recognizing the strength of the Orc people, integrated the tribes into the kingdom; though they had to be 'reeducated' and 'civilized'. Some of the smaller tribes resisted and still roam the northern grasslands to this day.
The King refused to disassemble the army afterwards, to ensure that the Orcs don't rise up again. Some time later the Ling nation found their way to the shores of the Human kingdom; for which the army was raised once more. However the Ling admired the strength and determination of the Human forces and offered an alliance with the kingdom instead; which still holds.
Within the last few decades, the Ogre region has invaded into the Human lands, and even with the combined might of the Humans, Orcs, and Ling; their forces continue to advance, and the land that they trample over are no longer accessible.
Demography and Population
The army consists primarily of Humans, secondarily of Orcs, and also has several Ling allies within it's ranks.

The Human region is under the control of the army; with the exception of the territories that have been overrun by Ogres.

Education
There is no training beyond battle itself. Lieutenants have gained their rank from experience on the battlefield. Captains are often promoted Lieutenants, though some have instead received Elite training; at great costs.
