Kelúra
Kelúra is one of the main settlements of Malónat, one of the three countries of the Útels in Ela'k Forest, and among the southernmost ones.
The town is a major trading-hub between the Útels inhabiting the forest on one hand and the Jaarels living under the Vúrakesen Mountains, being located only a day's journey to the Gate of Þer and two days journey to the Gate of Anhele, two out of three main entrances to the Jaarel city-states1. The inhabitants trade timber, nal-grain- and acorn meal and wine in exchange for metals, Tree Silk, precious and semi-precious stones, including Lightstones which kelúran jewelers use to make their famed necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

Culture
While not the only place in Ela'k Forest where cereals are grown to some extent, Kelúra is the largest producer of nal-grain in general, and the inhabitants are renowned for their nal-grain bread, which is otherwise a rare luxury good among the Útels.Demographics
The town is the main settlement of the Þebels, one of the five Útel tribes inhabiting Malónat, and as such the vast majority of the inhabitants belong to that tribe, along with a few Zakerans from the northeast and even fewer Þandans hailing from the country of Kanot to the north. The latter came to Kelúra either through marriage or because members of certain castes became too few to support the communities.
Geography
Kelúra is the only major Útel settlement not located by a river or lake, instead the townspeople get their water from wells or a few nearby streams and creeks.
1The village of Bavyl to the southeast is located a short distance away from the Gate of Nólar, but that trade-route is far less significant.
