Kveb
Mlúkrok:
Kveb /khvɛp/ is one of the eastern territories of the Kroks on the eastern Vorran Peninsula in western Dragonía, bordered by Ilkigit Sea to the south, the territories of Velk-í to the east and north on one hand and Naþvotere beyond the lower Þvan River to the west on the other.
Kveb once covered all the land between the river and the Vúrakesen Mountains to the east, but has gradually been reduced to less than half of that size as the eastern tribes chose to become part of Velk-í instead, due to the latter territory's prestige, despite the distance from Velk-í's capital of Amnú.
The tribes that remain have developed a well-established trade network with the Jaarels living beneath the Vúrakesen Mountain via Velk-í, eased by the use of canoes up and down the river Þvan, with the Kvebi selling dyes, vaakría skins and trinkets made from seashells and corals in exchange for ores and goods from Ela'k Forest. Like the tribes in southeastern Velk-í, they also use vaakría skin to make ceremonial drums and collect the marine reptiles' eggs as a seasonal delicacy, which only adults are allowed to eat.
