Tvemna Mountains

Mlúkrok: Tvemna /thvɛ:mna/

The Tvemna Mountains1 are the highest mountain range on Vorran Peninsula, located on the westernmost part of the region, where the effect of the element of Light is so strong that looking at the stars directly up on the mountain peaks hurts the eyes, though not quite as much as staring at the sun would do.
The entire mountain range falls under the Krokish territory of Harrotvere, where the local Kroks mine for Lightstones and various other gems and ores, and gather endemic fruits and spices when in season. The latter -particularly mnaak and övúb - are quite popular in certain territories throughout the peninsula and, further east, among the Jaarel aristocracy beneath the Vúrakesen Mountains.

Fauna & Flora

The Tvemna Mountains are home to feral Eretvóas , although far fewer in numbers than on Akveb Ridge on the northern Vorran Peninsula.
