Marys Dragonward was in the Abyss.
She was stuck there for countless days, as the time there isn't the same as in the mortal realm and her suffering blurred the hours together. There was little to no respite, but Marys found a way to survive. And time went on.
One day, when hope was all but lost, she was approached by a familiar face: Bray Teer. Bray said she could send Marys back to the realm of men, if Marys was willing to do something in return. Marys never hesitated.
Marys returned, and went east in search of the price of her freedom: a dagger held somewhere in the flying city of Tarnfold. As she traveled, she heard more and more of the activities of the Order of the Dragon, and Marys couldn't turn a blind eye to all the innocent being hurt. She took a stand, and started to employ her wizarding capabilities to fight the Order where she could. Soon, news of her exploits reached Falric, and he reached out to her, inviting her to his cause of freeing Morketstyre of the Order. She accepted.
Today, Marys is a pivotal member of @The Second Order and is trying her best to pay her debts, rebuild the lost Wizardy Order of the White Robes, and help as many people as she can.
