Belladonna Nuit de Sang
The quiet head of the de Sang family in Waterdeep. Duchess de Ortois. Beautiful. Cunning. Generous. Ruthless. Recently arrived from the Moonshae Isles just west of The Sword Coast. Her villa overlooks a massive winery for which the Ortois region is famous. Ortois wine is sought after throughout the Sword Coast, and it has made her quite wealthy. She has made several moves to ensure her family's financial independence and she seems to reinvest the lion's share of her profits back into the winery and improving the lives of the three small hamlets she relies on to maintain the grounds. She dotes on her elderly husband, and seems increasingly frustrated with her strong willed and rebellious 19-year-old daughter. She is charming and generous, though people who have done business with her will describe a ruthless and unyielding negotiator who is generally feared outside the Duchy Ortois.
