7.92x57mm Ivaruna

The 7.92x57mm Ivaruna (also called 8mm Ivaruna or 8mm Continental) is a rimless, smokeless, bottlenecked cartridge. It was originally designed by the Ivaruna Empire, but has been adopted all over as a standard full-power rifle round. Due to its prevalence in the continent of Ivaru it gets its most common name of 8mm Continental. It is so common that it is often simply called 8mm, despite other rounds of that caliber existing.
