Cyryx War for Independence

Also called the 20 Years War. On the 18th day of Sekhnurys, in the 340th year of the 7th Era, the Sekhtyr slaves of the Kingdom of Crosvyre in the colonies on Korsakia staged a large scale revolt. Their overlords had grown complacent and were quickly dispatched in many regions of the colonies.
The Nation of Cyryxeen was declared as an independant state. Crosvyre was eager to put down this rebellion, but they had many enemies that were equally eager to exploit the situation to their own benefit. As soon as a large army was sent across the Talenic Ocean they struck.
The Kingdom of Gryvane declared war on Crosvyre while making overtures about supporting the downtrodden Sekhtyr people. To that end they also created the Sekhtyrn Protectorate at the behest of Tsula Sitra, a particularly silver tongued slave they had freed in the early stages of the war


An often cited "Fun Fact" is that the war was actually 25 years long.
