Ekizer

God of Pestilence and Decay.  There are few people who profess Ekizer's value to the world or even that he has any good qualities at all.  He only thrives only by feeding on the sick.  It is Myrzaya that people pray to for a cure from these diseases.  While many view Talen as an antagonistic force, he promotes determination and overcoming of adversity.  Ekizer does nothing except cause suffering.  Though he does not cause this suffering with any malice, nor does he feel any joy.  Unlike the other Gods and Goddesses he has no emotions.  He simply is.  The concept of any such feeling is an entirely foreign concept to him.    Many wonder why he simply does not make every disease as powerful and deadly as His Consumption.  Some believe that this is because he does not directly create every disease, or maybe he never made any.  Others speculate that the more powerful the disease is, the more of his own power he must invest into it.  There are some who insist that it is because the more powerful a disease is, the more serious mortals take it and thus take precautions more often against them.  According to them, smaller, less deadly diseases are more profitable to him and a person who recovers from one disease can always catch another.   The souls of those who die because of a disease are the subject of contention amongst the Gods.  Someone who follows the teachings of a particular God is usually slated to be handed into their control after death.  However, disease is the sphere of Ekizer which gives him a soild claim on those souls as well.  It is said that at the dawn of time, an accord was struck between him and the Goddess of Death, Aunba.  If a soul did not have a strong tie to any particular God then he could have them.  If a soul had a strong tie to another God then there would be an accounting of debt between the two.  The souls in question would be appraised of their value.  Souls will be sent to the other God or Ekizer based on how much value one received from the souls contested between the two.  It is said that every god has some accounting of debt with him.   While he has few followers, those that believe in him preach that his realm is a paradise like no other.  This claim is believed by no one except those same followers.
