Calvin Merritt's house

Tucked away from the busy streets of the docks or the opulence of the government district, Calvin Merritt owns a small estate overlooking the northern portion of the bay of Siang. This large home is no where near the largest estate in the City of Siang but Merritt has managed to accumulate a massive privately owned library.

Purpose / Function

The Merritt estate used to be the training ranch for the Zabaldian Cheveliars. Merritt still breeds and trains horses on his off time.

Alterations

After the war Merritt was awarded this estate after his contributions to the independence of Rye. Afterward, Merritt and his family changed the buildings from a military compound to a luxurious estate.

Architecture

Stone foundation with wooden construction. A large, two story building serves as the main house with several other small buildings for various supporting roles for the estate.

History

Prior to the Republic of Rye gaining its independence, the Merritt estate was a Zabaldian Chevaliar Academy.
