Open Market at the Docks

A large open air market in the center of the docks area is where many a merchant stall is found. Originally built around the first well that was dug when the city was being built. Over the years and through much prosperity and trade, it went from a solely fish market to a bountiful and diverse market selling food, equipment, resources and weapons to any trader with enough coin. While the selection is fairly mundane, it more then makes up for it with the incredible amount of varying resources and merchandise.

The market has grown substantially from its origins, now including many wooden permanent structures for the more affluent and permanent vendors.

Architecture

Several wooden structures with a vendor opening, small vendor carts, a stone well in the center and some long tables that are used as a communal eating area.

History

This is the site of the original well for the city. In many ways the market has been the beating heart of Siang and has grown as the city went from small port, to town, to the city it is today.
