Tehana's Tavern

Touting the title of "oldest tavern in Siang", Tehana's Tavern is a large tavern built under ground and serves as one of the last reminders of the dwarven outpost that lies abandoned underneath the city of Siang. The tavern is also serves as the "Birthplace of the Republic" as rumor has it that this was the location that the original conspirators concocted their mad plan to succeed from the Kingdom of Zabald. The Tavern has three floors underground as well as three floors built above it. The above ground floors serve as room and housing for guests, and the bottom floor is the housing for Tehana and her family, while the upper two subterranean floors are the tavern proper.

Alterations

While the Kingdom held it's brief occupation of Siang, they set fire to the tavern which burned the top floors to the ground but due to the legendary dwarven craftsmanship Tehana and her family were able to keep the fire from even beggining to damage the tavern itself.

Architecture

The underground floors are entirely carved from stone with the bottom two being more dwaf height with cielings at 6"6', where as the top underground level has a cieling of around 8 foot to cater to the taller clientele that frequent this pub. The above ground building is very new and almost entirely made from wood, and has 3 stories of living quarter for paying customers.

History

Tehana's tavern is a local landmark with it's rumored ties to the birth of the Republic of Rye.
