The Kingdom Below

Deep underground lies the highways, cities and outpost of easily the largest nation in the known world, colloquially known as the Kingdom Below. The Dwarven kingdom stretches through the unfathomable depths underneath most other civilizations all connected by a lengthy super highway system known as the Roads of the Deep that all eventually lead to and from Hammerhall, located in a massive mountain in the frozen wastes of the North.

History

After the Dwarven Unity Wars in the year 222 ADA, the nobles of each of the Dwarven royal houses have come together to elect a High King who is then deemed worthy by the trial of the King of Storms. Since the unification the Dwarves have been able to grow and thrive with an unerring focus, and though there may be many unspeakable horrors and monsters indescribable that lurk beneath the surface, the Kingdom Below has thrived.
