Origin

The origin for the Wyrm Flayers is a heavily debated topic within academic and law enforcement circles. There are no records of the guild's formation and registration with any state government before the Accords. This suggests that it was illegally formed after the Accords. However, sparse as they may be, reports consistently describe guild members in possession of Dragon Tools or Golden Age quality equipment. Possession of either of these would mean that the Wyrm Flayers were in operation before the Accords were signed.

The Accords

Records and information available about the Wyrm Flayers are too conflicting or incomplete to determine if the guild had even formed by the the time of the Accords.

Modern Day

Sightings and reports of this guild have been rare but consistently identify its members as part of the same organization. Never appearing in teams larger than three, the group of Wyrm Flayers quickly move to gather intelligence and begin their hunts. Existence of this guild was not even established until the last century. No base of operations can be determined and the guild keeps to their own, only ever communicating with others when absolutely necessary. The guild remains a mystery and a standing bounty for its members exists in each of the city-states, each with their own reasons for wanting to capture these elusive dragon slayers.
