Solin

General Information

The title of solin is given to one witch every generation. This witch is one who is able to use all types of elemental magic and several specializations of others. Much like those who hold the title of ruler over a kingdom, the solin precedes over all covens of Arcea as a medium through which the Elemental Divinos speaks to the witches. Each generation has a solin, however, this does not mean the solin is replaced every generation. See Cleophee Melendez.

Requirements

In order to be the Solin, a young witch must be able to wield all four major elemental magic; earth, air, fire, and water. All other types that fall under luxen, malosic, or twilitic magic are simply a bonus and typically boost the Solin's favorability with the covens who specialize in the same magics.

Responsibilities

• Unify the covens of Arcea
• Speak to Divinos in time of need
• Give guidance to the covens
• Act as the highest ruler of Arcea when dealing with kingdoms and other lands of Draygar

Appointment

The appointment of Solin is a large nationwide ceremony. Before the ceremony, there is a week-long festival of magic celebrating the past solin's life as well as celebrating new beginnings.
