Court of Rot
Deep in the green wilderness of The Faerie Wilds , in the ruins of old taken by the plants long ago, lies the home for the Court of Rot. Few Courts are as mysterious as this clan of Fae who believe that death is a natural part of the cycle of life. While very little is known about this solitary Court that rarely participates the Solstices, an even more of that little is but tales, a rumour has it that some of the most powerful necromancers have studied under their wings. Some also talk of sentient plants, walking among the Fae, but then again, what isn't sentient in the magic filled realm of the Wilds?
Structure
As far as the other Courts know, the Court of Rot seems to be a matriarchal society. They are lead by a council of three matriarchs, but the ways of which these leaders are chosen is not known. Other than that, the Court seems to lack the traditional hierarchy of the Fae Courts - but then again, so do many of the clan-like Courts of the Wilds.
Culture
For the Court of Rot, death is a natural part of life. They hold the nature in high regard, and seem to be especially fond of insects and fungi, both of which they farm and nurture. While they are a very solitary Court, they do not act hostile against other Courtiers, and mostly seem to want to be left alone to tend their own business.
Assets
No other Court has as much knowledge of different kinds of fungi as the Court of Rot. However, obtaining this knowledge might prove to be impossible for an outsider.
