Chain, like many tabaxi, was born and raised on the Jungle island of Therarask. Further, he is gifted with an innate sense of direction and grounding while moving within the Jungle. Despite generally being well-spoken and a decent salesmen, he regards the many tourists flooding the docks with a hesitant, almost concerned eye. Regardless, Chain has bountiful knowledge of Themiscyron, where he and his mother live, the Jungle and all its wonders, and the delights of Pleasure Row at the heart of Therarask's Jungle.
